Job Description
This role involves working in multiple capacities to relocate and set up industrial machinery and equipment with precision. The work is crucial, requiring a high level of skill in leveling, aligning, and installing machinery on foundations or base plates, as well as setting, leveling, and aligning electric motors or other power sources such as turbines with the equipment. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential, along with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
Level, align, and install machinery on foundations or base plates.
Set, level, and align electric motors or turbines with equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Utilize advanced rigging techniques for machinery relocation.
Conduct mechanical and iron work as required.
Perform structural welding as needed.
Work with hand tools and hydraulics for installation processes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in rigging and mechanical work.
Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
Experience in machine installation and equipment moving.
Advanced skills in alignment and optical alignment techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Structural welding experience is beneficial.
Capability to work within precise standards of accuracy.
Ability to compare and differentiate size, shape, and form of lines and objects.
Skill in transforming flat drawings into solid objects in understanding.
Competence in following oral and written directions, plans, and blueprints.
Possession of own set of hand and power tools for machinery relocation and alignment.
Work Environment
Work at various jobsites, primarily inside existing or newly constructed manufacturing facilities. Some environments may be climate-controlled while others may not be. Current jobsites include prominent facilities like G.E, GESTAMP, and Miller Electric.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $30.00/hr.
