Job Title: Senior Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
As an Experienced Specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance team, you will apply your acquired skills and follow company policies to efficiently complete assigned tasks. While most assignments are semi-routine, you will occasionally deviate from accepted practices to solve complex problems. You will collaborate and interact with your team, adhering to established procedures on routine work, and requiring instructions only on new assignments.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and address breakdowns of production equipment.
Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed.
Fabricate machine parts as required and potentially assemble machines.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders.
Essential Skills
Extensive mechanical diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair, repurposing, and rebuilding of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Ability to utilize machine prints and parts manuals for maintenance purposes.
Strong electrical diagnostic and repair abilities including 110v AC, 240v AC, 480v AC, and 24v DC systems.
Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems diagnostic, repair, and installation.
Ability to use electrical schematics for diagnostic purposes and troubleshoot without them.
Some welding and fabrication skills required for repair or adjustment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience with established tenure.
Ability to follow, install, and teach maintenance practices.
Capability to coach junior technicians on necessary skills.
Strong sense of ownership within the maintenance team and processes.
Willingness to be a standalone contributor when required.

Work Environment
Work a consistent schedule from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Engage with various types of industrial machines including conveyors, screw machines, presses, and cold headers in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $114400.00/yr.
Sign on bonus of $5,000 paid out in 2 installments over 12 months. First payment (50%) after 6 months of service and the second payment (50%) after 12 months of service. EIP bonus plan of up to 6% paid against total earnings quarterly. 3 weeks of PTO & 3 days of PTS to be used annually. PTO day volume increases with years of service. 10-12 holidays per year depending upon calendar layout. All other benefits we offer with all positions at OMG inclusive of medical, dental, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, etc. as stated in documents you already have.
