Entry-Level Structured Cabling TechnicianJob Overview
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in low-voltage and structured cabling. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gain hands-on experience, and build foundational skills in a professional construction environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Pull, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling in accordance with TIA/EIA standards
Learn and assist with RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations under guidance
Support accurate cable labeling and identification
Perform basic punch-downs on telecom blocks
Assist with cable testing using tools such as Fluke and EXFO (with supervision)
Gain exposure to fiber cable dressing and basic handling
Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized job site
Take direction from senior technicians and supervisors to learn best practices

Overtime and Saturday work may be required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
