Job Title: Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics Tech Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your expertise to assist the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Apply electrical knowledge of basic components.
Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
Essential Skills
At least 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
Experience with a CMMS.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
Associate's degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
2+ years of experience working with PLC based control systems.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment
You will be working in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed, automated, and mostly robotic components. Performance is tracked by data and numbers, ensuring expectations are met without micromanagement. You should be comfortable walking 10,000 steps per day and lifting up to 49 lbs. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as we have positions available for all shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
