Lead Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
The Lead will oversee two other technicians as well as the parts inventory process, including parts ordering.
Chemical management for the site (inventory of detergent and sanitizer).
Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease facility operational downtime and increase operational effectiveness.
Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices.
Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories.
Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation.
Support daily/weekly asset usage.
Assist in daily/weekly training of warehouse personnel.
Assist with special projects as directed by management.
Continuously seek to improve upon existing methods of operation through research and development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general maintenance machine operations, facility maintenance, and maintenance for high volume conveying systems, etc.
Experience in PLC and advanced electrical operational maintenance/repair
Experience in/around: high volume conveying operations, water systems, large volume washers, motors, electrical, PLC controls
Previous experience with the following: welding, pipe installation/ repair, and heating/ boiler units.
Previous experience with general facility maintenance functions including doors, office, forklifts, etc.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proven planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle high volume operational requirements
Environment & Shift:
Warehouse environment. RPCs are received, unloaded and sorted, sanitized/washed and QC'd, restacked and prepped for shipment. Maintenance team oversees facilities and mechanical maintenance
2nd shift: 12:30pm-9pm, Monday to Friday

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $83200.00/yr.
