Cable Technician / Low Voltage Technician

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cable Technician to support commercial low‑voltage projects in the Wilmington, NC area. This role is primarily hands‑on and focused on cable pulling and termination. Candidates should be comfortable working independently on active job sites and handling physically demanding work.
Responsibilities
Pull, route, and secure Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
Terminate cables to patch panels, jacks, and faceplates
Drill through walls, ceilings, and floors to complete cable runs
Dress, label, and organize cabling per project standards
Read and follow drawings, layouts, and work instructions
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Experience & Skills
1-2+ years of hands‑on cable technician experience
Strong experience with structured cabling, pulling, and terminating
Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical tasks
Experience working in commercial environments
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
Cable testing experience (Fluke or similar tools)
Ability to read blueprints or low‑voltage drawings
OSHA 10 certification

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
