Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Qualified to perform the construction, maintenance, and repairs of fiber optics-based telecommunication systems including proper cable preparation, cable installations, fusion splicing, and cable/termination testing procedures.

 

Fiber Technicians must have the aptitude to interpret, maintain, and create fiber optic splice maps.

 

Certification for cable splicing and testing are preferred.
