As a Project Manager, you will hold the most critical leadership role within our company, serving as the primary driver of project quality, budget, and schedule. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of NYCs most prestigious residential builds, from foundation to fine finishes, while acting as a mentor and leader to our field teams. This role provides the platform to manage complex, high-stakes projects with the support of a progressive firm that values hard work and work-life balance.
Oversee the end-to-end management of luxury construction projects to ensure they remain profitable and aligned with original bids.
Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical path items to keep complex builds moving forward.
Lead the project start-up and deployment systems, ensuring all administrative and technical binders are meticulously organized.
Coordinate with site supervisors and office administrators to order high-end appliances, fixtures, and specialized building materials.
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all work meets architectural specifications and New York City building codes.
Negotiate with and manage subcontractors and vendors to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and accountability.
Drive the project close-out process by developing proactive systems to minimize and rapidly resolve punch-list items.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically within high-end residential interiors.
Extensive knowledge of all building systems including structural, mechanical, foundation, and luxury fine finishes.
Proven track record of processing submittals, RFIs, and complex technical documentation with extreme attention to detail.
Expertise in managing project budgets, change orders, and subcontractor negotiations within the NYC market.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing a diverse team including site supervisors, carpenters, and laborers.
Proficiency in interpreting architectural plans and ensuring all skilled trades work is inspected and compliant.
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience managing high-end gut renovations for world-renowned designers and architects.
Advanced proficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project) and budget tracking.
Strong ability to anticipate logistical obstacles and pivot schedules according to site demands.
Experience with designing architectural drawings is a plus!
