Job Title: HVAC Foreman Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Foreman capable of independently operating crews, potentially leading up to 8 people for larger projects. Our primary focus is on new commercial construction, with projects extending into government work at the Federal, State, and Local levels. Our expertise spans across military facilities, hospitals, airports, and university campuses, with the majority of work being local within a 45-mile radius, and occasional projects throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage HVAC crews on various projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Work on new commercial constructions as well as government projects at military facilities, hospitals, airports, and university campuses.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate with other construction professionals to meet project requirements.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of foreman or lead experience.
At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation is preferred.
Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems.
General knowledge of all HVAC low voltage systems.
Ability to test and balance HVAC systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No certification required, but preferred.
Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
Experience with blueprint reading and installation processes.

Work Environment
The role requires working over 40 hours weekly in a physically demanding setting, primarily indoors with some outdoor tasks. Employees should be comfortable working in varying conditions, from hot to cold. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with current technicians logging between 45-50 hours weekly. Proper PPE, including hard hats, steel-toed boots, vests, and safety glasses, is mandatory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
