About the Role:
The Foreman isresponsible for overseeing on-site project execution, ensuring quality, safety,and adherence to schedules. This role manages multiple crews, coordinates withfield engineers and trade contractors, and ensures compliance with customerstandards and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoringproductivity, validating materials, managing labor, and supporting both newdeployments and live site requests. The Foreman also plays a leadership role byassessing team strengths, recommending training, and documenting lessonslearned.
What You'll Do:
Report directly tothe onsite Project Manager.
Work in conjunctionwith the Project Manager's schedule, directives, and request.
Capture updates fromLeads and submit to Project Manager weekly.
Attend weekly syncwith Project Manager.
Oversee scheduledmilestones and productivity adherence.
Oversee site safetyconditions.
Coordinate withField Engineers and other trade contractors for execution of work.
Manage and controllabor on assigned projects.
Survey completedwork with QAQC Specialist before walking with Field Engineer.
Oversee quality ofwork is aligned with customer standards.
Understand leadsstrengths and weaknesses.
Recommend applicabletraining for Leads to enhance and embrace their roles.
Ensure their Leadsare following all customer rules, guidelines, and processes.
Validate projectdata and track quality, efficiency, and delivery.
Validates allmaterial required to complete the build project.
May be requested toattend customer design and build review meetings.
Supports both newdeployment and live site/production requests.
Support team toengage with new technology, manufacturers, software with help of projectmanagement.
Ensure safetystandards/certifications are met during and after the completion of install.
What You'll Need:
Must have priorexperience five (5) plus years preferred) in the installation of standardcabling technologies, rack infrastructure and in managing large-scale buildprojects.
Must be capable ofleading multiple crews.
Ability toprioritize and manage time effectively.
Ability to forecastmanpower and labor units.
Competency withMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Project).
Document Lesson'sLearned from each project.
Documentedleadership skills.
Clear and concisewritten and oral communications.
Must document andmaintain the build and team's applicable paperwork.
Must know how toread/understand drawings/blueprints and portmaps.
Capable of runningmidsize to large projects.
Ability to multitaskin a high pace work environment.
Understanding ofinfrastructure builds and components.
Understanding ofboth copper and fiber installs, terminations, certifications andtroubleshooting.
Certified cablingtest technician ("CFTT") and certified fiber installer ("CFI") or Equivalent asappropriate (BICSI or FOA -fiber optic association).
Must have anunderstanding and exceptional customer service skill.
Understand localregion install standards and code.
Documenteddiscovered, developed strengths and personal growth in team members.
Clear understandingof job safety requirements and point of contacts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods with somesitting.
Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual andlistening skills.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as wellas to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pull cables.
Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Center Team Lead position is $72,000 annually [or $34.61 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Data Center Team Lead position is $84,000 annually [or $40.38 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
