Grand Living Construction is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor Construction to oversee on-site operations for a multi-family residential (apartment) development, with potential exposure to commercial construction projects. This role serves as the primary on-site leader responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Site Supervisor will manage daily field activities, coordinate subcontractors and trade partners, enforce safety and quality control, and maintain accurate digital documentation throughout all phases of construction. Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on multi-family residential projects from pre-construction through project completion
Develop, implement, and maintain daily and weekly site schedules in coordination with the Project Manager to meet milestones and minimize delays
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners, including task assignment, progress monitoring, conflict resolution, and schedule enforcement
Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control standards, ensuring workmanship meets plans, specifications, building codes, and company expectations
Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions or rework are completed promptly
Enforce compliance with all OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company safety policies; conduct daily safety meetings/toolbox talks
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding schedule adherence, budget impacts, issues, and resolutions
Manage on-site resources including labor, equipment, materials, and deliveries to avoid shortages or delays
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to guide field execution and resolve issues
Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, progress photos, and site documentation using digital reporting tools
Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients to address questions, changes, and concerns
Foster a positive, productive jobsite environment that promotes accountability, teamwork, and high standards of performance
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Site Supervisor, Superintendent, or similar construction leadership role
Proven experience managing multi-family residential projects (apartments, mixed-use); commercial construction experience is a plus
Strong background coordinating and managing subcontractors, including scheduling, performance oversight, and timely completion
Demonstrated expertise in quality control, inspections, and managing corrections or remediation
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and schedules
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with construction management and reporting tools (e.g., Buildertrend, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar) preferred
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and extended hours as project schedules require
Experience with large-scale multi-family developments or modular/prefab construction
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent advanced safety training
