Low Voltage Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to install low voltage and fiber optic cables, run cables between testing equipment, and read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. The role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools to perform these tasks.
Responsibilities
Install low voltage and fiber optic cables.
Run cables between testing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Use hand and power tools to complete tasks.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in low voltage cabling.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Experience with cable installation and repair.
Proficiency with hand tools and troubleshooting.
Experience with panel wiring, light fixtures, circuits, cabling, network cabling, and electrical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in installing fiber optic cables.
Commercial electrical experience is a plus.
Experience with testing equipment is a plus.
Experience with computer wiring is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment will start with a project in La Vergne, TN, focusing on running computer cabling between testing equipment in the facility. The role involves working with low voltage, fiber optic, and cabling. The shift options are from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
