About the Role
We are seeking motivated Low Voltage Cabling Technicians to support commercial projects throughout the Connecticut market. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling and low-voltage systems in commercial environments.
✅ Connecticut Low Voltage License (T2 or C6) is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities
Install, pull, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 voice and data cabling
Build and dress telecom closets (racks, patch panels, cable management)
Route and secure cabling using J-hooks, cable tray, conduit, and ladder rack
Label and document cabling per project standards
Assist with or install AV, CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans
Troubleshoot cabling issues and perform service work as needed
Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
Collaborate with senior technicians and project managers to meet deadlines
✅ Required / Preferred Qualifications
Low Voltage License (T2 or C6) - Preferred, not required
6+ months of experience in low voltage, cabling, telecom, electrical, or construction
Entry-level candidates with trade school or hands-on experience welcome
Familiarity with hand and power tools (punchdown tools, crimpers, drills, testers)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with structured cabling, fiber, AV, CCTV, or access control
OSHA 10/30 or industry certifications (BICSI, CTS, etc.)
Prior commercial construction experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
