Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct onsite teams of data center technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards
• Manage daily project tasks to meet deadlines and stay within scope and data center standards
• Oversee and perform installation, termination, dressing, and labeling of CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
• Conduct cable testing using industry-standard equipment (Fluke, OTDR, power meter, or similar)
• Perform fiber optic installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting
• Install and terminate racks, cabinets, ladder rack, cable tray, MDF/IDF, and data center pathways
• Interpret and work from data center drawings, system layouts, and technical documentation
• Safely operate ladders and lifts (must be comfortable working in active data center environments)
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on data center or commercial low voltage experience
• Proven experience leading crews or supervising installation teams
• Strong working knowledge of structured cabling and data center infrastructure
• Fiber optic experience required (single-mode and multi-mode)
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications highly preferred
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to work onsite in Ashburn, VA
