Construction Manager

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with highway construction experience who enjoys leading complex projects that directly impact public infrastructure and safety.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage highway construction and inspection activities across all project phasesEnsure contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirementsOversee project staff, inspections, materials testing, QA/QC, budgets, and schedulesAnalyze roadway and bridge plans for constructability and identify design issuesCoordinate with design teams, contractors, agencies, utilities, and stakeholdersLead meetings including pre-construction, progress, and coordination sessionsPrepare project documentation, correspondence, estimates, and schedule analysesSupport resolution of field issues, change orders, and contractor payments
What Were Looking For8+ years of experience managing highway construction projectsStrong knowledge of roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering practicesFamiliarity with state DOT road and bridge specificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldPE and/or CCM preferred (not required)Experience supervising staff and managing complex construction activities
$125,000 - $150,000 a year
