Job Title: Installation Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage and oversee the setup of equipment at customer locations. This role involves planning, coordinating teams, and ensuring smooth execution of installation projects.
Responsibilities
Organize and monitor installation schedules and tasks.
Work with project managers, contractors, and customers to keep projects on track.
Supervise mechanical and electrical work during installations.
Ensure quality standards are met and provide training when needed.
Help solve problems and improve processes.
Prepare reports and maintain records using computer programs.
Coordinate parts delivery and installation.
Attend daily team meetings at the job site.
Essential Skills
Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
Experience working with motors, gearboxes, and similar equipment.
Knowledge of automated systems like conveyors or cranes.
Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), especially Mitsubishi and Allen-Bradley.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel frequently and stay on-site for extended periods.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar experience. Military backgrounds are highly preferred - Navy Nuclear, Avionics, or similar technically focused programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and gear reducers.
Familiarity with stacker cranes, conveyors, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
Strong coordination and scheduling skills for managing contractors and vendors.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) oversight skills.
Ability to compile and complete punch lists for project closure.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in tight spaces.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing/start-up facility environment, requiring long walks and extended periods on your feet. The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites, primarily local in Idaho, with initial travel for training. The facility environment may require working in tight spaces and at heights.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
