Job Overview

DeGennaro Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Working Foreman / Lead Carpenter to oversee and actively participate in daily field operations on residential and commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional who can lead by example, manage crews, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety, organization, and communication across job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily field crew operations
• Assign and oversee daily tasks and weekly schedules
• Monitor attendance, time tracking, and jobsite documentation using field apps
• Maintain consistent communication with office staff and management
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction execution
• Submit daily progress updates, photos, and material needs
• Ensure jobsite cleanliness, safety, and OSHA compliance
• Maintain organized, stocked work vehicles and tools
• Foster a respectful, professional, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of carpentry and/or construction leadership experience preferred

• Strong hands-on carpentry skills with leadership capability

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• No specific certifications required
