Job Description
Join our team as a Millwright where you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects by traveling to client job sites within a 75-mile radius of Pulaski, TN. You will be responsible for installing, dismantling, or moving machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. You will start and end your day at our company office/shop in Pulaski, TN, traveling in company vehicles to various client sites.
Responsibilities
Replace defective parts of machines or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
Connect power units to machines or steam piping to equipment and test the unit to evaluate its mechanical operation.
Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment, using blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Signal crane operators to lower basic assembly units to the bedplate, and align units using shims, adjusting tension on nuts and bolts, or positioning parts using hand tools and measuring instruments to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Attach moving parts and subassemblies to the basic assembly unit using hand tools and power tools.
Perform stick and MIG welding.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Electrical, industrial, repair, install, and wiring expertise.
Mechanical, conduit, troubleshooting, and rigging skills.
Preventive maintenance, welding, blueprint reading, and hydraulic knowledge.
Fabrication skills and the ability to work with hand tools and construction equipment.
3-5 years of experience as a millwright or rigger.
Ability to perform MIG and stick welding.
Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience as a millwright or rigger is essential.

Work Environment
Work as part of an Industrial Service Team, meeting each day at the company office and traveling to client sites in company vehicles. Most of the work is conducted within 75 miles of Pulaski, TN, but there may be occasions to travel out of state. The work schedule is from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Thursday, with potential for additional work as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
